Will California apply 150 semester hours requirement to take the CPA exam anytime soon? If not then does California accounting board have lower standards compared to other states which currently apply 150 semester hours requirement?

You can find your current requirements at your state's Board of Accountancy web site.

Normally, after you've passed the exam and received your license, you're good for life. The only requirement you have after that is "continued education", meaning you have to have a certain number of hours each year to maintain your license.
